HDS League 2026 – 2027
The transfer window is once again open. It's
time to get your thinking caps on and come up with a winning combination of
defence and attack and pick a team to beat the rest.
You are invited to arrange a team to enter the HDS League. All you have to do is follow the instructions/rules, complete your entry form and return it to me with your entry fee and that's it.. You're in.
Team names can be anything you
want, but please bear in mind that some of the entrants are of tender years, so
please keep them as clean as possible. Any team names that are deemed to
be rude or offensive in any way will be changed by yours truly...and can not be
guaranteed to be too flattering!
The league will be run
over the same format as usual, with the web site being updated weekly. The
award of manager of the month will also be maintained with the the chance of
seeing your named up in lights!.
If your team isn't doing that well don't despair. In November you will be given details of team changes you'll be allowed.
There is an entry form
which needs completing with your full team details, or simply email your
team choices if that is easier. Please also an provide an up to
date email address so that I can keep you informed with any news or wins you may
have. Please also enclose your entry fee.
The fee is the usual
one-off payment of £10.00. You can send it with your entry or contact me
for the account details if you'd prefer to credit me direct.
That's it then. Clear as mud? If I've missed anything or you don't fully understand any of it get in touch and I'll be happy to help. All that's left to tell you is the final date for receiving entries. I can't be leaving the closing date up to the last minute as I need plenty of time to get them all set up on the league program, so I'm asking you to get your entries in to me no later than Wednesday 19th August 2026. No late entries will be accepted as that would mean an unfair advantage on those who've already entered, and once it's in you can't have it back to change it.
Good luck
Dave
